Favorite Things Friday - The Weather

It's Friday, so that means Favorite Things Friday again inspired by Shay over at Quilting in my Pajamas.
Sorry this one is so late, but I was actually out enjoying my FTF!

Today, my FTF is a rare 78 degree day in the middle of February.  Earlier this week, it was 45 for a high, and as you can see from the 7-day forecast, it's going to get chilly again shortly.

But to have this kind of sunshine and warmth today was a real treat!

I went outside.  I opened the windows in the house.  I walked at the Botanical Gardens for hours.

So that's it.  Simple, but so refreshing and good for the soul!

Love your FTF -- unfortunately the weather here isn't so nice. Rainy and kinda cold. Oh, well.
Happy Friday!

As Ive gotten older Ive become obssessed with the weather. It seems the weather has chnaged a lot since I was a kid or is it just my perception?

Those rare warm days as you;re coming out of a nasty winter are just jewel like arent they?
Thanks for linking up!

Wow! 78 in February? And here I was thinking it was downright balmy at 43 degrees in February. I'm so jealous and I can't wait for spring.

Glad you enjoyed your sunny day! Great FTF.

After the sub zero temps of last week, the 80's the last few days have felt like heaven. I had to work, but it's nice to know someone got out and enjoyed the great temps and all the sun!

I love this as an FTF as I'm a bit of a weather geek.
Nice to see it's warming up even if that's a big change. That definitely must mean spring is on it's way.
I could do with some chill here, it's 35C 95F here today.
